TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer for an onsite contract-to-hire role in the Greater Los Angeles area. The team supports advanced flight, space, and ground systems and requires real-time embedded software development in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with C/C++ and object-oriented software development.
• Experience with RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS, RT-Linux, GH Integrity, Linux, or VxWorks.
• Active Security Clearance or Top Secret Clearance.

Location: Manhattan Beach, CA - Candidates must currently reside in the Greater Los Angeles area or be willing to relocate within 30 days of offer acceptance.

• Experience supporting hardware validation and verification activities involving RF, digital, or mixed-signal systems.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or Spiral development methodologies.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $75.00/hr.
