GTS is working with a company building an advanced phased-array radar system, moving from an early demonstrator towards a scalable, production-ready design. They are hiring an Embedded / Board Software Engineer to own the software that drives the radar's electronics, from first board bring-up through to hardened firmware running in the field.
This is a hands‑on role with a lot of ownership over what you build, and a clear progression as the programme grows, from demonstrator, through scale‑up, to fielded production. The engineering team works closely with the hardware and makes daily use of AI tooling such as Copilot and Codex to move quickly without cutting corners on rigour.
You will look after the embedded software across the electronics: IC drivers, calibration routines, RF front‑end control, and production firmware. The work spans the full lifecycle, from bringing up brand‑new boards and silicon to shipping firmware hardened for reliable operation in deployed systems.
This role requires US citizenship. You will need to hold an active security clearance (Secret or higher) or be eligible to obtain one.
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
