Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in San Diego seeks talented software engineers to advance mobile chipset software.

You will work with cross-functional teams to capture requirements, integrate drivers and peripheral software, triage system-level issues, and help deliver scalable build tools. The role requires embedded C/C++, knowledge of RTOS and hardware interfaces, experience with SCons and scripting (Python/Perl), and strong debugging and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of software engineering experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 0+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of programming in languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional software teams to verify and debug stability issues.
• Design and implement scalable build system software and tools for image generation.
• Work with HW and Systems Engineering to ensure Core Platform SW meets power and performance KPIs.
• Contribute to software product roadmap and delivery plans to reduce time to market.
