Sr. Embedded Software Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Embedded Software Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and testing of embedded software for advanced defense systems and platforms. This individual will work across the full software development lifecycle, partnering with systems, hardware, and test engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance embedded solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in embedded software development, a solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, and the ability to independently lead technical efforts while mentoring and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Top Technical Requirements

1. Embedded Software Development

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience designing, developing, integrating, and testing embedded software applications
• Hands-on experience developing software that interfaces directly with embedded hardware

2. C/C++ Development

• Strong programming experience in C and/or C++
• Experience with object-oriented software design and development
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, computer architecture, and operating systems

3. Hardware & Software Integration

• Experience working with embedded hardware systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug hardware/software interface issues

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $93121.00 - $125713.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
