Job summary

HCLTech in Frisco, TX, is seeking an Embedded Tester (SIT) to join our team and ensure the reliability of safety-critical handheld medical devices. The role emphasizes testing over development, with hands-on work on C and C++ code in Non-RTOS and RTOS environments.

You will analyze requirements, craft test scenarios, and coordinate with hardware and software teams. Strong collaboration in design reviews and a clear focus on test protocols are essential while contributing to a robust verification

Qualifications

Experience in design & development and testing, but this role focuses on testing only.
Understand C language for micro-controller non-RTOS and RTOS environments in safety-critical handheld medical devices.
Understand GUI design in C++ for micro-controller RTOS environments.

Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and identify gaps; create test scenarios from requirements/design documents.
Identify test hardware equipment for system testing.
Develop software integration test plans and protocols against design inputs and code; execute per medical device SW process.
Perform software regression analysis in C/C++ with knowledge of hardware.
Participate in requirements/design/code review meetings.
