AVDG, part of the Guitar Center family, is seeking a Commercial Service Technician II to independently manage on-site service calls, installations, and technical support for AV systems. You will lead installation projects, troubleshoot across Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron, and other control platforms, and mentor junior technicians to ensure high-quality client experiences.
You will also provide detailed service reports, perform preventative maintenance, and train end users on system operation.
As a Service Technician II, you independently manage on‑site service calls, installations, and technical support for AVDG clients' audiovisual systems. You demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities across multiple AV platforms, lead installation projects, and serve as a technical resource for Level I technicians. This role requires proven field experience, the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with minimal supervision, and excellent client relationship skills to represent AVDG professionally on‑site.

$45-50/hr depending on background and experience.
