Job summary

Nuro is seeking a software engineer for the Devices Platform to design and develop sensor and compute systems for robotics. You will help architect and deploy Nuro sensors and autonomous software with high reliability and performance, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure quality and scalability.

Ideal candidates have domain experience in robotics or autonomous driving, strong C++ skills with a focus on concurrency, and familiarity with the Linux kernel in driver

Qualifications

2+ years of industry experience in robotics or autonomous driving systems.
BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in C++, with emphasis on concurrency.
Familiarity with the Linux kernel in driver performance.

Responsibilities

Design and develop sensor and compute systems for robotics.
Architect and deploy Nuro sensors & autonomous SW with high reliability and performance.
Deliver reliable SW through metrics monitoring, automated testing, and vendor collaboration.
Debug complex systems, root-cause failure modes, and deploy effective solutions.
Drive cross-functional projects on sensors and compute for autonomous vehicles.
