Job summary

MSI Viking is seeking a Calibration Technician to work onsite at a customer facility in Aurora, Ohio. The role focuses on torque calibration with some electronic/electrical calibration responsibilities, performing calibration, testing and documentation per A2LA/ISO 17025.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of calibration experience, strong torque calibration skills, and the ability to read and follow procedures, with excellent attention to detail and communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years calibration experience preferred.
• Strong experience with torque calibration.
• Electronic/electrical calibration experience a plus.
• Familiarity with metrology and calibration practices.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and follow calibration procedures and technical docs.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently at a customer site.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, testing and documentation per A2LA/ISO 17025.
• Calibrate torque equipment and related devices.
• Perform electronic/electrical calibration.
• Update tracking software and generate calibration certifications/records.
• Represent MSI Viking onsite and work closely with the customer team.
