Job summary

Nebius is seeking an Internal Controls Business Partner to support finance and corporate processes, starting with Tax, Treasury and HR. You will partner with senior process owners to translate SOX and governance into practical, sustainable controls and improvements.

This role combines in-house control expertise with business experience, focusing on risk identification, control design, remediation, and automation to enable efficient business operations.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in internal controls, SOX, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of SOX 404, ICFR, COSO, risk and control matrices.
• Hands-on corporate ownership with in-house risk/controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary risk and controls partner for Tax, Treasury, HR and other processes.
• Lead process risk assessments and maintain risk matrices and narratives.
• Design practical controls with process owners to address risks.
• Lead SOX walkthroughs, audit readiness, and evidence coordination.
• Identify deficiencies and drive remediation with stakeholders.
• Automate controls and improve monitoring with data and dashboards.
