Job summary

Acuren is seeking an Insulator to support operations in Joliet, IL. This is a mostly embedded role with minimal callouts, and local applicants are preferred.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED and may benefit from NCCER Insulation Plus certification. Experience with insulation materials and fabrication of mounting/jointing hardware is a plus. Travel and a valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred NCCER Insulation Plus certification (Qualified Operator).
• Preferred knowledge/experience handling mineral wool, glass wool, calcium silicate, aerogel, cryogel, pyrogel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders.
• Be conversant with relevant work techniques.
• Assist other technicians as required.
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment.
• Must possess a valid Driver License or ID.
• Willingness to travel.
