SparkFun is seeking a passionate Embedded Engineer to join our hardware team in Colorado. You will own product development from prototyping through post-release, crafting hardware and firmware for next-generation embedded solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in hardware/embedded work, strong PCB design skills, and experience with Arduino and C/C++. You’ll collaborate across sourcing, QC, operations, and marketing, while engaging with the open-source community to advance SparkFun’s product

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hardware and embedded electronics experience.
• Proficient in PCB schematic capture and layout.
• Experience with Arduino and C/C++ environments.
• Proficient in debugging with electronics test tools.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design concept to post-release product ownership.
• Develop hardware and firmware for new products.
