Job summary

A leading 3D printing company in New York is seeking an Embedded Hardware Engineer to design and develop embedded systems and firmware. You will work across the product development lifecycle, debugging hardware and managing projects from inception to production. The ideal candidate has over 2 years of experience with ARM Cortex microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems, alongside strong problem-solving skills. Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing firmware for ARM Cortex or equivalent microcontrollers in C++ or C.

As an Embedded Hardware Engineer, you'll design and develop embedded systems and firmware, debug hardware, and solve problems across various technical domains. This is a full-stack role focused on shipping products, not specializing in one area.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded systems and firmware (research, prototyping, validation, production release).
• Debug hardware and potentially design it.
• Own projects from start to finish.
• Solve problems across the product development lifecycle.
• Grow into system architecture design and technical leadership.

You should have:

• 2+ years of experience developing firmware for ARM Cortex or equivalent microcontrollers in C++ or C.
• Experience developing software for embedded or desktop Linux systems.
• Solid understanding of electronics fundamentals and hardware debugging.
• Experience with project management through a full hardware development lifecycle.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with feedback control systems.
• Experience with PCB design and electronics prototyping.
