Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/EE/Robotics or related discipline.
  • 1+ year of embedded or hardware-focused experience (internships/co-ops accepted).
  • Experience writing and debugging embedded C/C++ code.
  • Comfort with microcontrollers and hardware debugging tools.
  • Exposure to real-time or bare-metal embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, or CAN communication.
  • Hands-on robotics or electromechanical projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and test embedded firmware for ARM Cortex-M or similar MCUs.
  • Develop and integrate low-level drivers and interfaces (SPI, I2C, CAN, UART, USB).
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers for bring-up and system integration.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintainable firmware design.
  • Contribute to firmware quality, reliability, and traceability.
  • Support verification and validation per FDA IEC 62304.
