Job summary

Fluxergy 2 in California is seeking a Firmware Engineering Intern to assist with embedded systems and firmware development. The role provides hands-on experience with hardware interfaces and firmware testing.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program related to engineering. The internship includes work on MK14 daughter board platforms and offers a competitive hourly wage of $20.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Availability to work approximately 30-40 hours per week.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming.

Responsibilities

• Assist with environment setup and embedded system configuration activities.
• Develop an understanding of MK14 daughter board architecture and system functionality.
• Support test harness development and execution for firmware validation.
• Review hardware datasheets and technical specifications.
• Contribute to technical documentation and maintain organized engineering records.
• Participate in unit testing and firmware verification efforts.
