Job summary

Neuralink in California is seeking experienced embedded software engineers to join the Brain Interfaces Embedded Systems Team. You will own complex firmware challenges, design bare-metal solutions, and collaborate with chip designers, electrical engineers, and software engineers on a small, fast-moving team.

You will work in highly powered, latency-constrained environments, delivering manufacturable solutions and contributing to safety-critical systems powering the implant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/EE or related field.
• 1+ years of embedded systems experience (including internships).
• Proficient in embedded C or Rust.
• Ability to design bare-metal embedded systems in highly constrained environments.
• Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals.
• Signal processing fundamentals.
• Cross-disciplinary teamwork and delivery-focused mindset.
• Willingness to interact with chip designers and neuroscientists.

Responsibilities

• Own complex challenges from definition to solution.
• Collaborate across functions to deliver safety-critical systems considering power, radio, and thermal needs.
• Own products and core features from planning to testing.
