Job summary

Apollo Professional Solutions, Inc. seeks an Embedded Software Engineer-MST to design, develop, and maintain firmware that runs directly on hardware platforms in a controlled environment.

The role requires close collaboration with hardware engineers to optimize integration and performance of embedded systems. Responsibilities include developing Embedded C firmware for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers, supporting bare-metal and RTOS environments, and implementing bootloaders and OTA update

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Strong experience with Embedded C
• Experience with bare-metal and RTOS firmware
• ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers
• Knowledge of interrupt-driven architectures and peripherals (DMA, timers, UART, SPI, I2C)
• Experience with J-Link, SWD, GDB debugging
• Ability to work independently and document decisions

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware using Embedded C
• Design and support bare-metal and RTOS-based firmware
• Develop software for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers
• Work with interrupt-driven architectures and embedded peripherals (DMA, timers, watchdogs, GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C)
• Implement and maintain bootloaders and firmware update systems
• Debug firmware using J-Link, SWD, and GDB tools
• Develop low-power firmware solutions
• Support wireless technologies including RF, Sub-GHz, Z-Wave
• Interface with hardware engineers and document technical decisions
