Arrow Electronics in North Billerica, MA, seeks an Embedded Engineer to perform board bring-up on Qualcomm QCS hardware, develop BSPs and device drivers, and support system integration. The role emphasizes ITAR compliance and cross-functional collaboration with hardware and firmware teams.

You will debug bootloaders, kernels, and peripherals while optimizing stability and power. A BS in EE/CE/CS is required, with strong C/C++ and Linux experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Embedded Linux development experience.
• Experience with board bring-up and hardware-software integration.
• BSP, Linux Kernel, Device Tree, and Device Driver development.
• Experience debugging bootloader, kernel, and platform bring-up issues.
• Familiarity with ARM-based architectures.
• Experience interfacing peripherals (UART, SPI, I2C, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, MIPI CSI/DSI).

Responsibilities

• Perform board bring-up for Qualcomm QCS-based hardware platforms.
• Develop and customize BSPs, Linux kernel, and device drivers.
• Support hardware validation and system integration.
• Debug boot, kernel, driver, and peripheral issues.
• Work closely with hardware, firmware, and product engineering teams.
• Optimize system stability, performance, and power consumption.
