Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in San Diego, CA is seeking an embedded software engineer to design, develop, and debug embedded systems powering aerospace solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure timely delivery of software projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and at least 2 years of hands-on embedded software development, with strong C/C++ and RTOS skills, plus hardware/software integration experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 2+ years of experience in design and development of embedded software solutions
• Strong understanding of hardware and software integration
• Proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming and real-time operating systems, with experience in debugging tools and software development lifecycle processes. Knowledge of microcontroller architectures and communication protocols is essential for success in this role.
