Job summary

Mobis North America seeks an Embedded Software Engineer - Diagnostics to design and implement diagnostic and application software for automotive display and infotainment systems. You will work with a cross-functional team following the internal V-model, developing requirements, design documentation, and code to meet automotive specifications.

You will collaborate with internal teams and customers, debug issues, and participate in validation activities while supporting overseas HQ coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/ Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software development experience using ARM/C in a real-time, multi-threaded OS environment.
• Hands-on experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern workflows.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot software issues and propose solutions.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop diagnostic and application software features for automotive displays and infotainment.
• Participate in full software lifecycle using the internal V-model process.
• Create software requirements, design docs, and code implementations based on specs.
• Develop system test plans and robust test cases.
• Support vehicle quality events and validation activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external customers.
• Engage with overseas HQ for coordination.
