Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, computer science, or a comparable field.
Very good knowledge of low-level C programming for microcontrollers.
Knowledge of electronics (circuit design, layout) is desirable.
Experience with microcontroller-based mixed-signal electronics is a plus.
Structured and independent work style, with ability to work effectively in a team.
Business-level German and good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Low-level development of control unit software in C for microcontroller-based mixed-signal electronics.
Implementation of projects at the prototype stage that serve as initial functional demonstrators for the customer.
For smaller projects, additional involvement in circuit design and layout of the associated electronics.
Development of test and commissioning software as a prerequisite for testing the microcontroller-based electronics.
Commissioning and debugging of the software on the target hardware.
Ensuring software quality even in early project phases.
Close coordination with electronics/hardware development and product development.
