Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an experienced embedded engineer to update hardware configuration files and drivers within tier-2 BSPs. You will work with tier-2 suppliers on schematics, integrate sensor drivers, create and flash updated BSPs, and enable debugging interfaces.

The role requires strong expertise with GPIO/I2C/SPI, Display, and NVM partitioning, plus proficiency in JTAG/UART/Ethernet.

Qualifications

• 10+ years expert in updating hardware configuration files and drivers in tier-2 BSPs, including GPIO, I2C, SPI, Display and NVM partition tables.
• Review schematics and HSI with tier-2 suppliers.
• Integrate sensor drivers including serializer/deserializer, radar, camera and USS.
• Create, build and flash updated BSP builds.
• Enable debug ports (JTAG, UART and Ethernet).
• Update startup scripts to ensure services and drivers launch without errors.
• Release customized BSP with detailed release notes and maintain the release repo.

Responsibilities

• 10+ Years (Expert) experience in updating HW configuration files and drivers in tier2 supplies BSP, including GPIO, I2C, SPI, Display and NVM partition table etc..
• Review schematics and HSI with tier2 suppliers
• Work closely with tier2 to update HW configuration files and drivers in tier2 supplies BSP, including GPIO, I2C, SPI, Display and NVM partition table.
• Integrate sensor drivers, including serializer/de-serializer, radar, camera and USS
• Create build configuration, build and flash updated BSP
• Enable debug port, including JTAG, UART and Ethernet
• Update startup script to make sure all the services and drivers are launched without any errors
• Release customized BSP with detailed release notes, and maintain the release repo with regular update
