Job summary

Info Way Solutions is seeking an Automotive Systems Engineer specializing in embedded systems to steer vehicle features from concept through production. You will define system requirements, architect solutions, and collaborate across systems, software, electrical, and hardware teams to resolve complex technical challenges.

The role emphasizes applying the V-Model, creating DFMEAs and System Boundary Diagrams, and contributing to functional safety and cybersecurity assessments throughout

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Automotive Systems Engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Software Engineering experience for embedded systems.
• Experience writing engineering requirements, functional specifications, and implementation specifications.
• Experience creating DFMEAs, System Boundary Diagrams, and other engineering quality documentation.
• Strong understanding of the Systems Engineering V-Model.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage engineering requirements, functional specifications, and implementation specifications for automotive systems and vehicle features.
• Support end-to-end feature development from concept to production.
• Apply the Systems Engineering V-Model across the product lifecycle.
• Create and maintain DFMEAs and System Boundary Diagrams.
• Develop and analyze vehicle electrical systems, including networking, wiring, power distribution, body, chassis, and CAN.
• Collaborate with systems, software, electrical, hardware, and other engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Support embedded software implementation by translating system requirements into detailed functional specifications.
• Contribute to system architecture development and ensure alignment between system requirements, design, implementation, and validation.
• Support functional safety and cybersecurity assessments as applicable.
• Participate in technical reviews, system integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Drive cross-functional problem-solving and ensure technical requirements are met throughout the development process.
