Job summary

Schonfeld is hiring multiple Forward Deployed Engineers to join our AI Solutions team across US and EMEA offices. You’ll be embedded with portfolio managers, researchers and corporate teams to identify, build and productionize AI solutions that automate manual processes.

You’ll design AI-powered workflows, develop agents, and own end-to-end delivery from requirements through production. We offer roles from Engineer to Senior Engineer, calibrating level and compensation to experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering Python experience in finance
• Experience with AWS cloud services (S3, OpenSearch, DynamoDB), Kubernetes deployments, Github Actions and modern CI/CD pipelines
• Experience building software with non‑engineering users and iterating on real feedback

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to shape feature definitions and build AI-powered solutions
• Design and implement Agentic AI workflows to analyze market data and surface investment insights
• Develop agents, skills, prompts, and templates for portfolio managers
• Own end-to-end delivery from requirements to production and post-launch iteration
• Contribute reusable patterns back to the AI Platforms team and improve code quality
