Job summary

Cutter & Buck is opening a new Dallas Fulfillment Center in Grand Prairie, TX, and seeks an Embroidery Production Coordinator to support the ORDER PREP process and ensure timely garment handling for embroidery.

Our Location:Cutter & Buck is growing and opening a new fulfillment center in Grand Prairie, TX. The DFC will mirror our spectacular Seattle Fulfillment Center. Employees are the backbone of Cutter & Buck, and we need an Embroidery Production Coordinator to join our team in opening and maintaining the DFC.

Job Summary and Essential Functions

ORDER PREP:

  • Deliver garments to the Embroidery MOD throughout the day.
  • Remove the garments from the plastic bags and cardboard boxes (if needed) or totes they arrive in – this is called “de-bagging”. Requires the ability to lift and move totes and boxes. Also requires the ability to do this task in a systematic way and to move quickly.
  • Verify product tags to compare the individual garment’s SKU number, color code, and size against the work order that will utilize the garments. Does a count of each style/color/size garment and signs off that the right number of garments in each size and color are prepared for loading on to the embroidery machines. Requires close attention to detail on every order and the ability to cross-check numbers and letter codes accurately.
  • Uses the work order and the thread plan to pick thread from the thread supply area for each order, as needed. It is critical that the right thread color number on the cone be cross-matched to the thread plan. Requires the ability to read small thread color numbers printed on a thread label accurately, climb short ladders, carry a tote with multiple threads back and forth between the supply area and the MOD.
  • Assists the Operators with the set-up of thread on the machine for the next run.
  • Returns threads to the thread supply area.
  • May scan orders in to routing statuses using an electronic scanner.
  • Assists with daily and weekly preventative maintenance of the embroidery machines.
  • Assists with daily, end of shift cleanup of the MOD area.
  • Assist in other departments doing Trimming, Folding, Inspection, scanning work orders using an electronic scanner, etc.

Hours: Monday thru Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with voluntary overtime during peak periods. Overtime eligible position.

  • Able to lift totes of 30lbs and reach over their head to move boxes off a pallet to table to unload.

OTHER DETAILS:

  • Training available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
  • Coordinators should wear casual comfortable work clothes and closed toe shoes. Work is standing or walking all shift.

  • May require overtime during seasonal periods as appropriate.
  • The location of this position is located within the climate controlled portion of the Distribution Center.
