Ameriflight seeks a dual-rated EMB-120/SA-227 Instructor Pilot to join the Flight Training Team. The role covers ground, simulator, and in-aircraft instruction across multiple bases, including significant travel across the U.S. The ideal candidate brings strong instructional capabilities and FAA compliance experience.

The position supports curriculum development, check-ride preparation, and standardization across training platforms, with travel to Houston and other locations as required.

Qualifications

• Experience as an instructor pilot or training captain is preferred.
• Prior Part 121 or Part 135 airline training experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ground school, simulator, and flight training for new hires and recurrent training.
• Provide online/virtual training sessions as required and ensure FAA compliance.
• Evaluate pilot performance and document results; support curriculum development.

This role is primarily instructional, supporting ground, simulator, and aircraft training across multiple locations.
