Job summary

gobravvo is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO, EM) to cover four ED sites, including a Level III trauma center. You will work 12-hour shifts with no on-call requirements and cross-credential across all network locations.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Active Texas medical license in good standing.
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
• Active DEA registration.
• ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Proven experience in hospital-based and freestanding ED settings.
• Locum tenens or travel assignment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rapid and thorough patient assessments for a wide range of emergent medical conditions and injuries.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop differential diagnoses, and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Stabilize and manage critically ill and trauma patients in accordance with Level III Trauma Center protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialty teams (ICU, cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, etc.).
• Supervise APPs and provide clinical oversight as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR.
• Participate in ongoing quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
