Qualifications

• Transcript and enrollment letter from school
• Excellent writing and speaking skills, active listening, and effective communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Planning and organization with attention to detail and deadlines
• Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities
• Experience in media (live production, podcasting, social media, video) is a plus
• Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects) and Avid Pro Tools is a plus
• Experience with live switchers, DSLR cameras, Sony cameras is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support daily production, content creation, and technical operations.
• Involve in the official weekly Morning Show intern podcast and cross-functional projects.
• Audio Producer: edit audio with Pro Tools; manage Elvis Duran On-Demand Podcast Channel; create sound bites; publish Morning Show podcast.
• Phone-OP: write weekly horoscopes and design Instagram graphics; prep on-air sheets; assist podcast; answer phones; maintain daily log.
• Social Media: write/pitch editorial stories; schedule posts across platforms; develop online strategy; produce video content; attend sales meetings; assist with office tasks.
• Video Producer: edit Morning Show segments; live-switch with NDI Studio and vMix; create thumbnails/graphics; assist shoots; setup cameras; stay current on media trends

What You’ll Do

This internship program offers four specialty tracks: Audio Producer, Phone‑OP, Social Media, and Video Producer. Interns will support daily production, content creation, and technical operations, and will be involved in the official weekly Morning Show intern podcast and other cross‑functional projects.

AUDIO PRODUCER INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with Avid Pro Tools to edit and manage audio content
• Upload and manage the Elvis Duran On‑Demand Podcast Channel
• Create sound bites, best‑of clips, and openers for national syndication
• Produce, edit, and publish the official weekly Morning Show intern podcast
• Assist with general office and teamwork tasks

PHONE‑OP INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write weekly horoscopes and design Instagram graphics
• Create a National Day prep sheet for on‑air staff
• Assist in podcast production and publishing
• Answer phones with the phone‑OP producer and maintain a daily log
• Handle daily contesting needs and general office duties

SOCIAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write, pitch, and research editorial stories for ElvisDuran.com and social channels
• Write and schedule posts for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Zillow
• Develop online strategy for Z100/Elvis Duran Show
• Produce original video content and graphics for social platforms
• Attend sales meetings to understand target goals and collaborate with promotions
• Help with local contesting and on‑air promotion ideas
• Assist with general office tasks and project collaboration

VIDEO PRODUCER INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

• Edit morning show segments for YouTube and social media using Adobe Premiere
• Live‑switch the show with NDI Studio and vMix
• Create thumbnails and graphics with Photoshop and After Effects
• Assist with off‑site shoots and client video production for pre‑roll ads
• Set up cameras and utilize mobile rigs for studio shoots
• Stay current on media trends for social cuts and content ideation
• Maintain general office tasks and contribute to team projects

Compensation

Hourly rate of $17.00, subject to experience, skills, and market data.
