This is a part-time, event-based position with compensation per event. Candidates should be available during evenings and weekends and have experience in athletics or event supervision preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student and spectator behavior and help maintain a safe environment.
• Address facility or game-management concerns as they arise.
• Communicate with coaches, officials, security personnel, and the Athletic Director when necessary.
• Assist with emergency procedures and crowd management.
• Complete any additional game-management responsibilities assigned by the Athletic Director.

Job Description

Ellington Public Schools is seeking reliable and responsible individuals to serve as Athletics Site Supervisors for home athletic events at Ellington High School.

The Site Supervisor will assist with the overall management and supervision of athletic contests to help ensure a safe, organized, and positive experience for student-athletes, coaches, officials, spectators, and visiting teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision at assigned home athletic events.
• Assist with opening, monitoring, and securing athletic facilities.
• Support game-day operations and ensure events run smoothly.
• Welcome and assist officials, visiting teams, and spectators.
• Monitor student and spectator behavior and help maintain a safe environment.
• Address facility or game-management concerns as they arise.
• Communicate with coaches, officials, security personnel, and the Athletic Director when necessary.

Schedule

Compensation

Compensation will be provided on a per-event basis.
