Job summary

Tri County Tech Center is seeking an ELL Assistant Teacher I – Float to support Lead Teachers in Early Care and Education classrooms. This part-time role centers on a safe, nurturing environment for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years.

You will work across multiple classrooms, hold a CDA credential, and register with the Oklahoma Registry within 90 days. Strong communication with families is essential.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a CDA credential or be willing to obtain one.
• Must be on Oklahoma Registry or register within 90 days of employment.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Minimum of one year of related work experience in Early Care and Education.
• Background in early childhood is preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality lab experiences aligned with curriculum goals.
• Assist planning developmentally appropriate activities meeting guidelines.
• Collaborate with Lead teachers to develop engaging curricula.
• Translate lesson plans into concrete learning experiences.
• Maintain classroom behavior standards for a productive environment.
• Document children's progress and share milestones with parents.
