Job summary
A local school district is seeking an ELD Instructional Aide to provide essential support to English Language Learners. The position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain positive interactions with students and teachers. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be fluent in English, and preferably have experience in teaching English as a Second Language. A valid Arizona Driver's license and clear driving record are required, along with CPR and First Aid certifications within the first year of hire.
Qualifications
Fluent in English.
One year of experience teaching English as a Second Language preferred.
Effective written and spoken communication skills.
Responsibilities
Provide content area support to students whose primary language is not English.
Administer the AZELLA at all school sites.
Assist the ELD teacher in preparing instructional materials.
