Job summary

The Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut seeks an eLitigation Assistant United States Attorney to build and oversee the office’s eLitigation operations, including a dedicated Litigation Support Unit. This role advises case teams and coordinates electronic discovery efforts to ensure defensible processes.

The AUSA will be based in New Haven, CT, with periodic travel to Bridgeport and Hartford, supporting Civil and Criminal Divisions and contributing to policy

Qualifications

  • Experience with complex civil or criminal litigation and electronic discovery.
  • Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team.
  • Experience with litigation technology applications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the office's eLitigation operations and a dedicated Litigation Support Unit.
  • Advise civil and criminal case teams on eLitigation and discovery issues.
  • Develop policies and protocols for processing, reviewing, producing, and managing electronic discovery.
  • Provide training on litigation technology software tools and applications.
