Job summary

USTA National Campus seeks a dedicated coach to lead and develop elite Junior Transition players (14–18). You will implement on-court and off-court USA Tennis strategies, focusing on top prospects and pathway progression, while building relationships with players, parents, coaches, and academies.

As part of a cross-functional team, you’ll coordinate with senior coaches to align programming, travel, and resources, traveling to training centers and events to advance 14–18U development.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record coaching high-level junior tennis players, ideally 14–18 age group.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Women’s tennis development pathways and Player ID & Development philosophy.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with players, parents, coaches, and tennis academies.
  • Experience designing and implementing development programs for elite youth players.
  • Must be able to work on-site and travel frequently.

Responsibilities

  • Coach Junior Transition athletes, focusing on top prospects and progression along the USTA pathway.
  • Support travel and on-court/off-court USA Tennis strategy implementation.
  • Collaborate with Head of Women’s Tennis and Directors of Training to assign training and travel goals.
  • Track progress and ensure resources are allocated.
  • Travel to USTA Training Centers, tournaments, and events to oversee 14-18U development activities.
