Job summary

First Citizens Bank seeks a Wealth Consultant to identify, attract, and retain high net worth clients through comprehensive wealth management and financial planning solutions. You will serve as the primary relationship manager, coordinating with specialists to deliver an integrated client experience.

The role develops revenue opportunities across product lines, delivering holistic advice while acting as a trusted advisor and Brand Ambassador for the Wealth team within the Bank.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Acquiring clients, Asset Gathering, and providing comprehensive Banking and Financial Planning advice.
  • High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Acquiring clients, Asset Gathering, and providing comprehensive Banking and Financial Planning advice.
  • License or Certification Type: Series 7, 65 or 66 licenses Required, State Life & Health (and LTC Insurance if applicable) license Required, Advanced Advisor/ Planning Designation Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition - Identifies and attracts new clients to the Bank's wealth offerings through direct prospecting efforts, client referrals, and by partnering with Bank associates.
  • Relationship Management - Serves as a primary point of contact and advocate for high net worth prospects and clients. Maintains current knowledge of client circumstances and relationship to develop wealth plans.
  • Strategic Advice - Provides prospects and clients with expert wealth management advice and long-range plans to achieve financial needs.
  • Collaboration - Fosters partnerships with Bank stakeholders to coordinate wealth management products and services.
