SRSC SFM, LLC in Wesley Chapel, FL seeks an Elite Club Volleyball Coach to support youth volleyball programs—club/elite, leagues, clinics, camps, and private sessions. You will coach, design training sessions, and foster a positive, competitive environment for athletes.

Travel to tournaments in and out of state; after-school and weekend availability is required. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is expected.

Qualifications

• Coaching licenses (or active pursuit of) preferred
• At least 2 years of youth coaching/teaching experience
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
• Team player with strong leadership and motivational abilities
• Willingness to work after-school and weekend shifts
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain
• Neat in appearance and professional in manner
• Strong knowledge of coaching rules, techniques and strategies
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Passion for sports and athlete development

Position Summary

Sports Coaches will assist and coach youth volleyball programs, including, but not limited to: Club/Elite, leagues, developmental classes, after-school/home school programs, clinics, camps, private/semi-private training sessions, and birthday parties. The Sports Coach is responsible for coaching and developing athletes. This role involves designing and implementing training programs, providing instruction and feedback, and fostering a positive and competitive environment for athletes.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities, Including But Not Limited To

• Teaching relevant skills, tactics, and techniques to a wide range of athletes, individuals and group
• Develop and implement structured training programs to enhance athletes' skills, fitness, and strategies
• Monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing athlete performance and progress
• Providing suitable feedback via positivity, encouragement, example, and motivation
• Demonstrating an activity clearly by breaking down the task or technique into a sequence
• Promote discipline, respect, and sportsmanship in all team activities
• Friendly and courteous with athletes, parents, and facility team members
• Identifying athlete strengths and areas for development
• Ensuring a safe environment for all athletes
• Stay updated with the latest coaching techniques, sports science, and industry best practices
• All additional duties assigned by management
• Travel to tournaments in and out of State.

Minimum Qualifications

• Coaching licenses (or active pursuit of) preferred
• At least 2 years of appropriate coaching/teaching sport in youth programs for athletes of various aptitudes
• Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
• Must be a team player
• Must have excellent leadership and motivational skills
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, predominately after-school and weekends
• Must possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications, or willingness to obtain within a specified period
• Neat in appearance and professional in manner
• Strong knowledge of sports coach rules, techniques, and strategies
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Passion for sports and athlete development

Working Conditions And Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high
• Must be able to move or lift lightweight equipment
• Position requires standing and activity for extended periods of time (indoors or outdoors), squatting, stooping, jogging, or bending into awkward positions while performing job functions

Salary: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour
