Job summary

Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland, seeks a dedicated Director of Track & Field who will also serve as the Varsity Head Coach. This role leads a nationally recognized program across all grades (K–12) with a focus on elite athlete development, competitive success, and strong team culture.

The successful candidate will oversee coaching staff, develop training curricula, manage travel, college recruiting, and ensure compliance with IAC and ISL standards to sustain excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Significant coaching experience at the collegiate level or nationally competitive high school program.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead track and field programs across all seasons for grades 6–12.
• Design season plans, training programs, and meet strategies.
• Coordinate college recruiting and travel logistics.
• Hire and supervise coaching staff across event groups.
• Ensure compliance with IAC, ISL, and governing-body standards.
