Job summary

Ochsner Health in New Orleans, LA seeks a Training Program Coordinator to oversee daily operations in training programs, develop & manage coaching activities, and recruit team staff to strengthen program growth. You will empower teams and contribute to improving patient care.

Requirements include a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in an exercise related field is preferred, plus two years of teaching/coaching experience.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred in an exercise related field.
• Two years of teaching/coaching experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire; AED certification within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred certifications: USA-Weightlifting, CSCS, or NASM.

Responsibilities

• Oversees coaching across assigned levels and ensures program delivery.
• Enforces facility policies and regulations.
• Maintains in-service training and records for the applicable sport.
• Prepares paperwork for meets and reports; communicates progress to supervisor/parents.
• Performs additional duties as required.
