Job summary

United States Army Reserve is seeking candidates for the US Army Soldier (18X) program. Special Forces candidates undergo extensive mental and physical training to join an elite combat force.

Training progresses through Infantry One Station Unit Training, Airborne, and Special Forces Selection, culminating in the Special Forces Qualification Course and related operations. This role offers challenging duties and extensive professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to join the Army.
• No tattoos on hands, face, or above the neck (ring tattoos acceptable).
• No felony history.
• Complete ASVAB with required scores.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Special Forces Weapons Sergeant with weapon and tactics duties.
• Serve as Special Forces Engineer Sergeant handling construction, demolition, and surveys.
• Serve as Special Forces Medical Sergeant as first-response/trauma medic.
• Serve as Special Forces Communications Sergeant operating encrypted and VHF/UHF gear.
