Job summary

Delta Air Lines, Inc. seeks an Elite Services Driver to support Delta One Lounges worldwide. You will provide personalized check-in, guest assistance, and coordination with colleagues to ensure seamless experiences for high-profile guests, celebrities and Delta One passengers.

As an Elite Services Driver, you will be a part of the Elite Services Program and care for influential guests in Delta One Lounges worldwide.

Elite Services Ambassadors need attention to detail, a desire to create memorable guest experiences, and exceptional customer service skills. The Elite Services Program aims to provide exceptional experiences that last beyond travel. You will support the evolving premium environments (Delta One Check-In, VIP Select, and Delta One Lounges) by fostering a team that promotes collaboration, respect, growth, accountability, and shared success.

Responsibilities include personalized check-in, assistance through airports, and coordination with colleagues to ensure a seamless guest experience for public figures, celebrities, and Delta One business class passengers.

Customer Service Responsibilities:

Your anticipation of guest needs and ability to ensure absolute privacy for all guests will guarantee success in the following responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome guests, creating a positive arrival and/or departure experience while traveling in the airport.

  • Promote airport facilities and provide accurate information on facilities, local attractions/events, transportation arrangement and directions as needed around the airport.

  • Work collectively with Customer Service Agents in driving traffic to help maintain order and flow for arriving and departing guests in the airport.

  • Follow security procedures on the handling of guests and the protection of guest related information.

  • Listen to and promptly act to correct guest problems and complaints.

Driver Responsibilities:
  • Stay aware of issues relating to driver and general airport operations. Be responsive to instructions and suggestions and be solutions based to resolve problems. Adhere to arrangements made and instruction relating to special guest needs, VIP Select and special requests etc.

  • Load and unload guest luggage and other belongings, escort guests to and from gate and/or connection or baggage areas.

  • Assist to ensure the timely delivery of guest luggage, packages, gifts, messages, etc.

  • Transport guests to and from designated and approved locations using official Porsche vehicles, operate the vehicles in a safe manner and in accordance with established laws. Perform assigned duties associated with guest transportation while maintaining logs through approved tracking mechanisms.

  • Comprehend and abide by all traffic regulations while transporting guests to and from the airport terminal or other designated site.

  • Maintain an alert and attentive demeanor.

  • Take vehicles for periodic servicing and fueling as required.

  • Properly maintain and clean Porsche vehicles.

  • Complete a pre-driving checklist for vehicles daily insuring that the following are in proper working order: lights, brakes and electric doors on vans and trucks, oil and tire pressure, fuels at proper levels.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Proficiency in English.

  • Strong communication skills with station, business partners, and guests.

  • Must have at least two years of high-end hospitality experience (includes Delta experience).

  • Knowledgeable of station goals and performance metrics and how this role impacts those numbers.

  • Must possess strong working knowledge of DL systems to include: Deltamatic, SNAPP, kiosks, and service recovery tools.

  • This position requires walking distances and requires the ability to go up and down stairs.

  • Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays in all weather conditions.

  • Must be able to obtain airport authority ramp driving certification/icon and regularly drive on AOA.

  • Currently possess, or able to qualify for issuance of a customs seal is required.

Starting pay: $25.63 per hour
