Job summary

Gavin de Becker & Associates is seeking a full-time Protector in the Boston area to safeguard clients and properties. The role includes monitoring sites, screening visitors, coordinating security plans, and responding to emergencies.

The protector will provide physical protection, secure transportation when needed, and conduct advance site surveys for client safety. Candidates must complete EPS training, pass a physical readiness test, be able to swim, and remain drug- and nicotine-free.

Qualifications

• 12-Day EPS Training Academy in San Antonio, TX.
• Be able to pass physical readiness test (pull-ups, push-ups, sit-ups, 800m run).
• Must be able to swim.
• Must be drug and nicotine free.
• Background check required.
• Must be able to obtain appropriate state firearm and security licensing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor property using the tools and technology of a GDBA Command Center.
• Screen visitors and vendors; control all access to protected site.
• Coordinate and execute security plans and respond to medical emergencies.
• Provide physical protection and logistical support at clients' homes and during travel.
• Provide secure transportation as needed.
• Survey and prepare locations prior to client arrival.
• Prepare detailed documentation of suspicious activity.
• Create and maintain readiness to meet any threat.
