Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Must have completed all required training pursuant to the Security Guard Act.
• Must possess one or more of the following: military experience, NYSDOS registered security guard experience, or law enforcement experience.

• Provide support in emergency situations.

Skills

Effective written and oral communication skills

Proficient in typing

Computer skills

Ability to assist persons requiring aid

Adequate eyesight for visual ID checks

Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs

Education

High school diploma or general equivalency diploma

Valid New York State Photo Driver License

Valid Fire Guard Certification from NYC Fire Department

TSA Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)

OSHA 10-hour Occupational Safety and Health Training completion
