Qualifications

• Active California RDH license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Local anesthesia certification
• Strong periodontal charting and clinical assessment skills
• Experience providing SRP and periodontal maintenance
• Dentrix experience preferred
• Comfortable working within an assisted-hygiene model
• Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused
• Ability to maintain quality care in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis
• Provide periodontal maintenance and SRP
• Complete thorough and accurate periodontal charting
• Identify periodontal disease and communicate findings
• Educate patients about periodontal health and treatment
• Two-quadrant SRP within scheduling protocols
• Administer local anesthesia within licensed scope
• Provide anesthesia for doctor’s patients when needed
• Apply fluoride and sealants
• Take diagnostic radiographs (bitewings, panoramics, full-mouth)
• Establish recall intervals
• Maintain Dentrix documentation
• Collaborate with providers on treatment needs
• Provide excellent chairside care and patient comfort
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, sterilization and infection-control standards
