Job summary

GardaWorld Federal Services is seeking a Protective Security Specialist to perform day-to-day protective security functions in an austere environment. The role includes vehicle operations in motorcade settings, weapons handling per orders, and active participation in advance security planning.

Candidates must have U.S. citizenship, be at least 21, and possess at least three years of applicable experience, including one year in protective security, with experience in high-risk locations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess prior experience on a WPS III or predecessor contract.
• Minimum of three (3) years of applicable experience; at least one (1) year in protective security.
• Experience must be earned in locations with significant risk.

Responsibilities

• Drives the lead vehicle, principal’s vehicle, follow-vehicle, and/or acts as response agent in motorcade or similar operations.
• Carries and operates weapons as specified in orders or by supervisors.
• Participates in advance security preparations.
• Mans the security post at the principal’s residence, the command post, or other static post as required.
• Serves as a member of a QRF as assigned.
