Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Boston seeks a Private Banker to advise families on building, preserving and managing wealth using investments, financial planning, credit and banking expertise. You will work with a local team and leverage a broad institutional platform to serve clients and grow assets.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in private banking, a Bachelor’s degree, and Series 7/66 plus insurance licenses (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required; licenses must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• Proven sales success and strong business acumen.
• Strong community presence with an established network.
• Experience with investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts.
• Focuses on the client experience and acts on the client’s behalf.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain relationships with clients by earning trust and understanding needs.
• Generate business results and acquire new assets from existing and new clients.
• Advise clients on balance sheet, asset allocation, wealth planning, credit and banking needs.
• Partner with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise.
• Connect clients across all lines of business of JPMorgan Chase & Co.
• Ensure solutions meet clients' needs through holistic planning.
• Adhere to risk controls and regulatory guidelines.
