Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to contribute to our enterprise-wide digital transformation. You will design, develop, and deliver software using DevSecOps and Agile practices to support national defense programs and the OIX platform.

The role requires a Secret clearance, the ability to work on-site in Bellevue, and up to 25% travel. You will collaborate with Software Leads and Architects to build modular, scalable solutions and to meet stringent

Qualifications

Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Master’s degree with 3+ years; PhD + 1 year.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and debug applications and systems.
Modernize software with current languages to meet government needs.
Ensure modular, scalable, reliable software architecture.
Collaborate with hardware engineers on data processing systems.
Analyze system requirements to define software designs.
Provide on-site customer installations and maintenance.
