Job summary

Kids for the Future seeks a Certified Personal Trainer for Village Fitness in Aiken, SC. The role focuses on creating and delivering tailored fitness programs across Team, Small Group, and Private training formats while delivering high-quality customer service.

Qualified candidates hold a high school diploma, current CPR/First Aid, and CPT certification (ACSM/NASM/NSCA or equivalent). This position supports member safety and satisfaction with a collaborative team approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Either ACSM, NASM, or NSCA–CPT certification or CPT equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one personal training to members and guests.
• Advise on new programming and equipment needs.
• Assess members for fitness needs and design safe, effective sessions.
• Lead personalized workouts with clear movement instructions.
• Educate participants on monitoring heart rate and intensity.
• Inspect equipment for safety and address issues.
• Contribute to member retention through excellent service.
• Uphold departmental policies and work as a team.
• Work varied shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.
