Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking an OB laborist to join our Cedar Crest maternity services. You will collaborate with midwives, OB-GYN physicians and maternal-fetal medicine specialists across our network, supporting more than 6,000 births annually.

You will teach OB-GYN residents and medical students while providing laborist coverage, and engage in education, research, and patient-safety initiatives within a large academic-affiliated health system.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified in obstetrics/gynecology.
• PA Medical License or ability to obtain one.
• Ideally 3–5 years of obstetrics clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team across multiple sites providing obstetric care.
• Serve as primary teaching faculty for OB-GYN residents and students.
• Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine for high-risk pregnancies.
• Support newborn care in conjunction with Level IV NICU services.
