Job summary

Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Kentucky seeks a Paramedic to respond to medical emergencies and provide advanced critical care during transport. As the first provider at the scene, you will partner with firefighters and police to assess the situation and deliver life-saving care.

You will operate emergency medical vehicles, perform invasive procedures under challenging conditions, and communicate patient data to receiving facilities.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• BCLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.
• Valid Paramedic certification.
• Vocational school graduate or certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate emergency medical vehicle and respond to calls for aid in emergent situations.
• Evaluate patient condition to establish the appropriate course of treatment.
• Provide a variety of emergency medical treatment to injured, sick, or incapacitated persons.
• Perform invasive procedures under adverse conditions.
• Manage non-medical situations such as crowd control and protect patient valuables when necessary.
• Lift and transport patients, ensuring stability during transport.
• Communicate patient data and condition to professional medical personnel at the emergency treatment facility.
