Job summary

Innovative Attraction Management (IAM) is hiring a Lifeguard to ensure guest safety at our resort pools and attractions. You will monitor aquatic areas, perform lifesaving procedures, and maintain deck cleanliness while staying physically active outdoors.

StarGuard Elite Lifeguard training is provided. Full-time roles require full availability including weekends, with a strong emphasis on guest engagement and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have strong observational skills to proactively identify Guest needs and ensure safety.
• Excellent verbal communication to engage Guests, team members and leadership.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Guests in aquatic areas and provide constant surveillance for safety.
• Execute StarGuard Elite Aquatic Risk Prevention procedures.
• Perform life-saving techniques, CPR and first aid during emergencies.
• Maintain pool deck cleanliness and manage towels, life jackets and trash.
• Attend 4 hours of in-service training per month to keep certification active.
• Follow Elite Dispatch protocols for attractions like rope swings and waterslides.
• Support leadership with assigned tasks as needed.
