Job summary

Nation Security Services LLC seeks experienced K9 Owner-Handlers to deploy with their Explosive Detection Canines across high-profile client locations in Florida. You will operate as an elite detection team safeguarding major venues, cargo facilities, ports, and corporate campuses.

The role offers a competitive base pay starting at $40/hour, plus dedicated stipends for canine care, housing, and travel. You must own a certified or certifiable EDC canine and meet security clearances and travel

Qualifications

• Must personally own a certified or certifiable Explosive Detection Canine (50–90 lbs).
• Minimum 2+ years of EDC handler experience in military (MWD), law enforcement, or high-tier private security.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken) required.

Responsibilities

• Explosive Detection Screening: conduct high-vigilance sweeps across client facilities.
• Canine Care & Welfare: manage 24/7 care, housing, feeding, conditioning, and health.
• Continuous Proficiency Training: ongoing odor detection drills and decoy scenarios for certifications.
• Compliance & Reporting: maintain logs and reports for regulatory compliance.
• Stakeholder Coordination: communicate with client security directors and venue managers.
