Job summary
LA Tutors 123 is seeking engaging, experienced tutors to join our team on a part-time basis in Beverly Hills, CA. If you’re passionate about education and helping students succeed, we want to hear from you!
We specialize in standardized test prep (ISEE Lower/Middle/Upper, SAT, ACT). The position offers flexible scheduling, including after 3PM on weekdays, and requires travel to students' homes within Santa Monica, Brentwood, and West LA.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years prior teaching/tutoring experience in the ISEE, SAT, and ACT
- Flexible schedule, particularly after 3PM on weekdays
- Must live in the service location areas (West Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Brentwood)
- Previous experience creating lesson plans, and managing tutoring timelines
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a prestigious university
- A fun, positive personality and strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to student's home
- Minimum 1-year commitment
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home or online tutoring for standardized test prep (ISEE, SAT, ACT)
- Develop and implement lesson plans and tutoring timelines
- Travel to students' homes as needed and manage scheduling with families
- Maintain a positive, engaging learning environment and track student progress
